It took the experienced American pair just 33 minutes to win the final at the first tournament on the 2014 FIVB World Tour.


Walsh and Ross gave Juliana and Maria Antonelli a hard time in the first set, displaying solid defence in the back row and at the net and pulling away in the middle of the set.


The Brazilians started well in the second set, jumping to 4-1 ahead, before Walsh and Ross used an 8-2 run to overtake the lead. Brazil then called a timeout and returned to win three unanswered points to level at 9-9. The lead changed hands several times after that until 17-17. "I think the competition over the past week is even more helpful than training two months, because you have to play under great pressure here, while in training you are usually less stressful," said Xue.

HONG KONG, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- The government of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Thursday announced that two grants totaling over 6 million HK dollars (about 770 Nike Jordan 12 For Sale ,000 U.S. dollars) have been approved to two agencies for providing relief to flood victims in Bihar of India.


The move came after the government accepted the advice of the Disaster Relief Fund Advisory Committee.

The committee hopes the grants will facilitate the provision of timely relief to the victims and help them restore their normal living, a government spokesman said.

To ensure that the money is used for the designated purposes, the relief agencies will be asked to submit evaluation reports and audited accounts on the use of the grants after the relief projects have been completed, said the government statement.
